Recognition of BCPS

Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) has granted recognition to 08 (Eight) departments for imparting training to the resident doctors for a period of five years with effect from date of application (13.04.17).


The duration of training to be counted


1. Medicine 2 Years

2. Surgery 1 Year

3. Paediatrics 1 Year

4. Obst. & Gynae 1 Year

5. Otolaryngology 1 Year

6. Ophthalmology 1 Year

7. Orthopaedics Surgery 1 Year

8. Anesthesiology 6 Months

* Basic 8 subjects BCPS training recognition is on process.
